The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and may be completed in more than one sessions, depending on the extent of baldness. The surgeons charge more for FUE technique due to the manual work involved. The hair transplant surgery is done using scalp donor area most of the times but in case of extremely thin hair on the scalp, body hair is used to fill up the bald patches on the scalp. There are many other ways which are non surgical but they do not produce the same kinds of result that surgeries for hair loss produce.
